Habitat for Humanity's ReStore accepts donated goods and building materials for resale to the public, providing an environmentally and socailly responsible way to keep materials out of the waste stream while providing funding for Habitat’s community improvement work.

The ReStore is open for sales and donations:

Habitat ReStore accepts donations of clean, working items. Because Newberg Area Habitat for Humanity is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, each material donation is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

We appreciate donations of these items when working and gently used. Please bring them by during our operating hours. We also have drivers available to pick up your donations. Please call (503) 547-5860 to arrange a pick-up or for other assistance with your donation.

ReStore Accepts

Donated items must be in reusable condition.

  • Appliances: Stoves, ranges, water heaters, dishwashers, washers & dryers, freezers, refrigerators, etc.
  • Cabinets: Kitchen, bath, laundry, sewing, etc.
  • Doors: Exterior, Interior (no hollow-core dores)
  • Electrical: Light fixtures, glass globes, bulbs, etc.
  • Furniture: Sofas, tables, bed frames, desks, bookcases, dresser/chest, entertainment centers, etc.
  • Hardware and tools
  • Plumbing: Sinks, bathtubs, toilets, faucets
  • Windows

Please call ahead about other building materials to see if we have space.

ReStore Does Not Accept

Anything rusty, damaged, soiled or inoperative

  • Clothing & shoes
  • Hide-a-bed sofas
  • Mattresses & bedding
  • Books & magazines
  • Dishes & glassware
  • Computers, televisions
  • Single-paned aluminum or wood windows
  • Unusable paint
